Turkmenistan joined the BUNKER-2001 Convention of the International Maritime Organization (IMO)

In order to comply with international requirements within the framework of bunkering services for ships, relevant work has been introduced to join the «International Convention on Civil Liability for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage» (BUNKER-2001) and the IMO approved the accession of Turkmenistan to the Convention. This Convention will come into force for Turkmenistan on April 23, 2024.

International Maritime Organization has elected a new Secretary-General
