GIZ : Central Asian Transit Passes Through Turkmenistan Border in the Shortest Time

Turkmenistan is strengthening its status as a reliable transit bridge between Asia and Europe. According to a rapid assessment conducted by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in October-November 2024, the average time for transit goods to cross the border in Turkmenistan is only 50 minutes. For comparison: in Kazakhstan - 2 hours 26 minutes, in Tajikistan - 1 hour 50 minutes, in Kyrgyzstan - 1 hour 28 minutes, and in Uzbekistan - 1 hour 25 minutes.
