The 8th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan was held in Baku. During the session, participants explored opportunities to enhance partnerships and promote mutual investment across key sectors of the economy.
Discussions focused particularly on the prospects for cooperation in business development, trade, the energy sector, transport infrastructure, industrial production, and agriculture. This was announced on Monday by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov, by his official social media account.
The Turkmen delegation was headed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyyev. The Azerbaijan side was represented by Minister Mikail Jabbarov. Both officials served as co-chairs of the Commission.
The previous (7th) meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation was held on November 28, 2023, in Ashgabat.
