The Turkmen-Japanese Business Forum was held July 25 at the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan in the framework "Expo 2025" in Osaka, marking a significant step in expanding economic cooperation and trade ties between the two countries, according to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan.

Business leaders from both nations discussed joint cooperation in priority sectors including high-tech industries, innovative systems, the digital economy, energy and transportation.

Forum participants exchanged proposals to create favorable conditions for Japanese companies entering the Turkmen market. They also explored opportunities for Turkmen firms to adopt Japanese technologies and launch joint innovation projects.

The forum not only strengthens bilateral ties but also encourages economic development across Central Asia.

Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with representatives of Japanese business circles April 15 in Osaka, underscoring growing economic engagement between the two countries.
