President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Mongolia on Sunday for a two-day official visit, according to Turkmenistan’s news state agency.
The Turkmen leader’s plane landed at Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport in Ulaanbaatar, where he was welcomed with full official honors. A ceremonial guard of honor was lined up, and the airport was decorated with the national flags of both countries.
During the visit, the two sides are expected to sign a package of bilateral agreements aimed at strengthening the legal framework of cooperation.
The agenda also includes a Turkmen-Mongolian business forum, an exhibition of Turkmen carpets, displays of decorative and applied arts, and a cultural event featuring artists from both nations.
