In connection with the proclamation of 2026 as the Year of "Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – Land of Horses and Great Aspirations," a meeting was held in the conference hall of the "Balkan" Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Open Joint-Stock Company.

During the meeting, drawing on the words of the Honorable President: "Turkmen horses are the power of our ancient land, the decoration of our hearths, and a priceless national treasure," reports were presented on the significant role of horses in the life of the Turkmen people. Speakers discussed their vital importance as faithful companions to humanity throughout history, as well as their celebration in art and literature.

Participants particularly emphasized that the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence will be celebrated with great enthusiasm this year. They discussed the objectives for marking this significant date with high labor achievements and the extensive opportunities provided by the state to support these goals.

At the opening of the meeting, deep respect and pride were expressed for Hero Arkadag, who granted the people a peaceful and tranquil life, and for Arkadagly Hero Serdar, who worthily continues his great path.
