On October 15, 2025, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Tajikistan took part and delivered a speech at the special session of the international forum “Dushanbe-Invest 2025,” held in Dushanbe from October 14 to 16. This was reported by the official press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tajikistan.

The forum, solemnly opened by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, became an important platform for discussing issues of investment, sustainable development, and the implementation of green technologies.

During the session “Cities of the Future: Safe, Green, and Smart”, it was emphasized that Turkmenistan, which celebrates this year the 30th anniversary of the UN’s recognition of its status of permanent neutrality, attaches great importance to the creation of comfortable, environmentally friendly, and innovative cities. In this context, the examples of Ashgabat and the new city of Arkadag — built on the principles of digitalization, energy efficiency, and human-centered development — were highlighted.

It was also noted that Turkmenistan and Tajikistan share similar priorities in the fields of sustainable development and environmental protection, which contributes to further strengthening cooperation based on mutual trust and respect.

It was underlined that in the International Year of Peace and Trust, Turkmenistan remains committed to the principles of neutrality, sustainable development, and regional cooperation aimed at strengthening peace, confidence, and prosperity in Central Asia.
