Following the visit, the President of Turkmenistan signed 14 documents

On June 2, 2025, negotiations took place in Ulaanbaatar between the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh. Following the talks, 14 documents were signed, as reported by the service of TDH.

News reports indicate that the presidents of the two countries signed a Joint Declaration on the Development of Bilateral Cooperation between Turkmenistan and Mongolia.

Among the signed documents are: an Agreement on the Establishment of a Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Cooperation; a Program of Cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries for 2026-2027; a Medium-Term Intergovernmental Program for the Development of Trade, Economic, and Investment Cooperation for 2026-2028; a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Light Industry; an Agreement on Cooperation in Education (between the Mongolian National News Agency "MONTSAME" and the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH)); a Memorandum on Establishing Sister City Ties between Ulaanbaatar and Ashgabat; and a Memorandum of Understanding on the Exchange of News and Information.

Overall, the signed agreements cover various aspects of bilateral cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
