On April 23, 2025, the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, paid a visit to the Kyrgyz Republic. This information was released by the TDH service.

At Issyk-Kul International Airport, the distinguished guest, the national leader of the Turkmen people, was warmly welcomed by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov.

At the airport, adorned with the national flags of both countries, a guard of honor was formed to welcome the Chairman of the People's Council.

According to the published report, a bilateral meeting between the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic is scheduled to take place during the visit.

Furthermore, the visit's program includes a series of cultural and business events.

It was previously reported that on April 21-22, the Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan visited the Republic of Kazakhstan, where he held a meeting with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and also participated in several cultural and public events.
